We’ll guide you, provide the gear, and ensure a smooth recovery, so you feel the benefits quickly. To prepare for your EMS session, have a bite to eat 1 to 2 hours before your session and be hydrated by drinking water. This will directly effect your mental and physical performance, giving you the energy you need for your training session. Keep in mind that caffeine, alcohol or fasting may increase your muscle sensitivity.

1. THE INTRODUCTION

Your BodyPulse Intro Session starts with a quick chat with your licensed EMS trainer to understand your goals, physical history and limitations. Followed by a short introduction about EMS training and the results you can expect to see on your EMS journey.

2. THE DRESSING

We provide your EMS underwear kit. No need for sports shoes, as the training is done barefoot or in socks. Your workout will be done wearing our top-of-the-line EMS training suit, which consists of a light-weight vest and straps that come in sizes XXS to XXL, making it accessible for everyone.

3. THE STIMULATION

Once connected to the device your licensed trainer will set personalized intensity levels to each muscle group. You will feel a light, tingling sensation that is fully adjustable for comfort. Over 90% of your muscles are activated, ensuring an effective full body workout.

4. THE MOVES

Your Licensed EMS trainers will guide you through your BodyPulse session that involves simple body-weight movements that will work over 90% of all muscle fibers. Each 20 minute session can be customized to your unique goals. Any injuries or movement restrictions can be worked around.

5. THE COOL DOWN

Your session includes a 2-minute relaxation period to ensure faster recovery for your muscles, followed by guidance on pre & post EMS nutrition, hydration and recovery methods.

6. THE RECOVERY TIME

You may experience some muscle soreness within 48 hours due to the intensity, it’s completely normal. We can adjust future sessions based on your feedback. After the session, rest, hydrate, and nourish your body. Recovery is key to coming back stronger for the next session!

Can I try a single EMS session before committing to a membership or package?

Definitely! We offer a special rate for the first session “the Intro Session”. The Intro Session costs only $59 and includes:

  • Initial Consultation
  • Introduction to BodyPulse EMS Training
  • Starter Kit Rental (clothing worn under the vest and straps)
  • A 20-minute Intro Session Workout

Yes. We call it the “underwear kit” and it is a top and bottom which is worn without anything underneath the vest and straps. It is made of special fabric to enhance the sensation of the electrodes throughout the workout. The underwear kit is also anti-bacterial and anti-fungal to protect your skin.

The underwear rental is included in the Intro Session $59 fee. After the Intro Session you can choose to purchase your own (which we always recommend) or you can rent one of the kits for a fee.

We also suggest training EMS barefoot or with your socks on to have a grounding unless you wear special orthopedic insoles or shoes. This also helps train the muscles in the feet which is the base of healthy posture alignment.

We also provide towels and water at no additional cost!

Absolutely! Our clients range in age (so far 12 to 92), activity level (from clients that have never worked out before to Olympians and Pro-level athletes), goals (fat-loss, posture alignment, post-surgery or injury rehabilitation, muscle and strength gain to name a few). Our exercises and moves are purely bodyweight so that they are accessible by everyone and there is no excess stress on the joints. During the initial assessment we take note of any limitations which we work around or in most cases specialize movements to help improve and in a lot of cases are able to rid the body of those limitations.

Prior to your first training unit, you must complete a Medical History Form and sign the Contra-Indicator Waiver. You certify that the information provided is true and given in good faith. We may request medical clearance if necessary, depending on circumstances.

The main contra-indications with whole body EMS training are: Cancer, Pregnancy, Diabetes Mellitus, Epilepsy, Pacemakers or Active Medical Implants (including metal IUDs), Cardiovascular Diseases.

To prepare for your EMS session, it’s a good idea to have a light meal approximately one to two hours before your session and stay hydrated by drinking water. This will help optimize your workout experience. Keep in mind that caffeine, alcohol or fasting may increase the sensitivity to your EMS sessions.

We offer the rental “underwear kit” (top and bottom which is worn without anything underneath the vest and straps) as part of the Intro Session $59 fee. After the Intro Session you can choose to purchase your own (which we always recommend) or you can rent one of the kits for a fee.

So all you need to do after the Intro Session is figure out which Membership or Package works best for you. Our team is always ready to help you figure that out either over the phone, in person or via email.

To start off, we recommend to give your body around 5 days after your Intro Session to allow your body to recover from the new stimulation. After that you can do one every 3-5 days with a maximum of 2 sessions a week. Due to the intensity of activation of muscle we recommend always making sure your body has at least 36 hours recovery time. Recovery is just as important as training and over-training may be worse than under-training!

We offer a special rate for the first session “the Intro Session”. The Intro Session costs only $59 after which you can choose from one of our 3 packages: the 5, 10 and the 20 session packs or one of our 4 Membership options depending on whether you are looking for 4 or 8 sessions a month.
